Now comes the middle finger. Play what you have just learnt - slowly. Just after plucking string 6 and just before the last 4,3 twiddle pluck string 2 (second up) with the middle finger. You may by now be able to hear the alternating bass rhythm played by the thumb. As you become more confident you will be able to isolate this bass undertone as you hear yourself play. That's it for now! It took me several weeks to get to here so do not give up. You are ready for the next step when you are as fluent as the example at the top of this table. Try it with different chords. |
